Peasantry
Hinds: Farm workers
Labourers: A person engaged in physical work, esp. of an unskilled kind
Commoner: A peasant of lower class who owns a home, but owns little or no land.
Tradesman/Merchants
Peddler: A tradesman/Merchant who sells his goods town to town.
Merchant: Someone who sets up a business in the town.
Master Craftsman: A person who practices and is highly skilled in a craft.
Apprentice: Someone serving and learning under a master craftsman.
Nobility
Gentry: A person of importance, a free man who holds Land.
Sir Knight: Someone who has been knighted and sworn an oath to the King/Queen.
Lord/Lady: A Lord or Lady rules over everyone ranking below them, owning the land on which people work.
Baron/Baroness: Serving the Monarchy Directly the Baron or Baroness sits on the council and advises the Monarchy directly.
Earl/Countess: Given to anyone who is Vassalised through war, Though allowed to hold their claim they must serve and pay tax to the Monarch. An Earl or Countess although equal to a Duke or Duchess is given no claim to the Throne of Stormcrest. (Tribal Vassals may call themselves Jarls.)
Duke/Duchess: Highest rank outside of the Monarchy, the Duke/Duchess is granted his/her own claim, to serve and pay tax to the Monarch, Upon reaching the rank of Duke or Duchess, you have claim on the Kingdom of Stormcrest, so this title is only given to the most trusted Barons and Baronesses as to avoid war. Although declaring war on someone you have sworn Oath to is considered shameful and Dishonourable.
Clergy
Monk: Simply a member of a church.
Priest: Given the ability to perform religious ceremonies.
Abbot: The head of a monastery, serves the Pope Directly.
Templar: Appointed by the pope, a Templar serves as a warrior who must and can only fight in religious wars. A Templar will be well equipped and is expected to master both sword and shield.
Pope: The head of the religion, the pope serves the Monarch faithfully, yet has the ability to revoke the crown and excommunicate who he wants.
Monarchy
Regant: A person who exercises the ruling power in a kingdom during the absence, or disability of the sovereign. (Can be lowborn.)
Prince/Princess: Son or daughter to the monarch.
Queen: Ruler or wife of ruler.
King: Ruler.
